Aleta Barthell’s play, WINDOW OF SHAME, is a finalist for the 1st Annual Humanitas/Center Theatre Group Playwriting Prize. The award will be given to the best new and unproduced play written by a Southern California playwright.
Jennifer Lane is one of 10 finalists for the Center Theatre Group’s  first annual Humanitas/CTG Playwriting Prize, for her play HARLOWE. The award will be given to the best new and unproduced play written by a Southern California playwright.
John Molina’s latest 10-minute play, “Sentimental Value“, was one of twenty-four plays selected out of over 260 submissions for the Fourteenth Annual North Park Playwright Festival in October.  This is his seventh play in this festival.
 Steven Oberman announced that Scripps Ranch Theatre is touring his one act play “A Slip from Reality” to several schools in San Diego in March and April, as part of their educational program to bring live theatre to the schools. “A Slip from Reality” has been produced at Scripps Ranch Theatre in 2013 for their Out on a Limb New Play Festival and also at Theatre West in Houston, TX in 2014 for their Festival of One Acts. The current touring production is directed by Charles Peters.
